No. You can start with the basics and add more later. Permissions such as contacts, location, notifications, microphone, and camera are requested only when they unlock something relevant, and you can skip them without losing access to the core app.

Interests are broad things you enjoy, such as travel, watches, books, fitness, or food. Preferences explain how you like to receive gifts, including favorite brands, styles, services, and whether you prefer experiences or physical items. A wishlist is the specific things you want right now.

Meant keeps those signals separate so recommendations can start with the most useful information instead of treating every like as the same thing.

You can still invite them. Meant is designed so people can join intentionally, create their own profile, and decide what they want to share rather than having someone else build a public profile for them.

Meant asks for account details and the information you choose to add: your name, username, profile photo, birthday or important dates, interests, preferences, wishlist items, posts, messages, and optional delivery preferences.

Each piece has a purpose. Taste information improves gifting, moments power reminders, and delivery information makes private fulfillment possible. You can leave optional fields for later.

No. Your exact address, phone number, and delivery notes are never shown to friends, followers, or gift senders. A sender can see useful order progress without receiving your private delivery details.

For physical orders, access is limited to the systems, fulfillment partners, and staff who need the minimum information required to complete that order. An authorized customer-support agent may access relevant account or order information only when you specifically ask for help and consent to that review. Meant's fulfillment architecture is designed around restricted access and an audit trail for sensitive-data reads.

Location permission gives Meant only a general area, such as your city, so it can suggest nearby gifts and experiences. Your delivery address is separate, optional information used privately to coordinate fulfillment. Neither reveals your live location to another user.

No. Contact access is optional and is used to help you find people you already know. It does not create automatic friendships. You still choose whom to add, and the other person must accept the request before friend-only information is shared.

A recipient's wishlist is the strongest signal, but Meant can also work from their preferences and interests when the list is short.

During early access, parts of purchasing and physical fulfillment remain preview experiences while payment, merchant, and delivery integrations are completed.

Gift Assist turns what someone has shared into concrete, budget-aware ideas. It checks a recipient's wishlist first, then their preferences and interests, and points to specific products or services rather than dropping you on a generic search page.

A Memeanto is a meaningful-message package. It can bring a voice message, video, personal note, and optional gift together so what you send feels as thoughtful as you meant it to.

Regular Chat stays simple and separate. Memeantos are for the moments when you want to send something with more feeling and intention.

The gifting flow is designed to let the sender choose the reveal: notify the recipient, include the gift in a Memeanto, or time it around an important moment. Available timing options may vary while fulfillment features are rolling out.

Meant also has a separate Following experience for approved public-support profiles. Following someone never unlocks their private profile, address, phone number, Chat, or ordinary Memeantos.

Friendships are mutual and intentional. One person sends a request, the other accepts, and then both become friends. Following a public-support profile is separate and does not create a friendship or unlock private access.

No. It can support birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, achievements, launches, graduations, custom dates, and the smaller personal moments people want their circle to remember. Reminders and Gift Assist use the same moment context so every kind of moment can lead to thoughtful action.
